In the first stage (1/8 final) of the draw, where Neftchi joined Neftchi, they drew Karabakh . Although no goals were scored at the Inshaatchi Stadium, goals in the second half of the return match (2: 0) in the central arena took our team to the quarterfinals. 

At this stage, the rival "Bakili" did not come to the return match, as they lost the first game with a big score (0: 4). Our team, which also solved the case of "Turan" in the first match in the semifinal (3: 0, 0: 1), had a difficult match with "Shamkir" in the final .   

The final was boring and the cautious sides mostly tried to keep the goal intact. As there were no goals in the main and extra time, the winner was determined by a series of penalties. In this series, our goalkeeper Jahangir Hasanzadeh blocked Mehman Yunusov's shot, which resulted in winning the trophy for the third time.
