Yurii Vernydub Reacts to Victory over Radnički Niš

Neftçi PFK head coach Yurii Vernydub shared his thoughts with the club's official website following the team's 3–0 friendly victory over Serbian side Radnički Niš.

"The main objective of friendly matches is to assess the players and work on different tactical aspects of our game. The result is not our top priority, but winning is always pleasing regardless. I would like to congratulate my players. We produced a good performance.

"Both the players who started the match and those who came on in the second half gave their maximum. We also tested some players in different positions. We continue to move forward and are now entering the final stage of our preparations.

"We have one more match to play before returning to Baku. After a couple of days' rest, we will begin our preparations for the UEFA Conference League. The team is in good shape, both physically and mentally."
