Welcome, Vicko Ševelj!

Neftçi have completed the signing of a defensive midfielder. Croatian midfielder Vicko Ševelj has joined the “Black and Whites”. The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the club and will wear the No. 88 shirt.

In addition to his primary position, Vicko is also capable of playing at centre-back and right-back. He has represented clubs in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Slovenia and Scotland.

Last season, he made 40 appearances in all competitions for his former club Dundee United, providing 3 assists. In the 2026/27 season, he featured in all of his side’s first three Scottish Premiership matches and appeared in all five of their Scottish League Cup fixtures.
