Seven of Our Players Called Up to National Teams!

The Azerbaijan national team squad has been announced. Six members of “Neftçi” — Emin Mahmudov, Emil Balayev, Rufat Abbasov, Murad Khachayev, Elvin Badalov and Emil Safarov — have been called up to the national team.

Our national team will play a friendly against Tajikistan at 20:00 on 23 September at Palms Sports Arena. As part of the UEFA Nations League, Azerbaijan will face Lithuania at 17:00 Baku time on 27 September at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium, host Liechtenstein at 20:00 on 1 October at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, and welcome Lithuania at 17:00 on 4 October at Palms Sports Arena.

In addition, Denzel Jubitana has been called up to the Suriname national team.
