Comeback victory for the Reserves

Neftçi have secured their first victory of the season in the Reserve League. The “Black and Whites” came from behind to beat Araz-Naxçıvan 2–1 in Matchday 2. The visitors took the lead through Səbuhi Mammadov in the third minute at the Palms Sports Football Centre, but our players turned the game around, with Kamil Mammadov equalising in the 35th minute and Mahammad Mammadli scoring the winning goal in the 72nd minute.

Under head coach Rashad Abdullayev, our team will face Zirə away in Matchday 3. The Matchday 3 fixtures will be played from 4 to 6 September.
