27 September – Remembrance Day

Today marks six years since the beginning of the Patriotic War. Pursuant to the Decree signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 2 December 2020, 27 September is commemorated annually in Azerbaijan as Remembrance Day as a sign of deep respect for our soldiers and officers who fought heroically during the Patriotic War and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country, as well as for all our martyrs.
