Kazbek Tuayev won the second championship for Neftchi.

Along with Kazbek Tuayev, the work of his assistants Boyukaga Agayev and Asif Aliyev is undeniable. According to official documents, on January 25, 1996, Asif Aliyev was appointed head coach of Neftchi. Under his leadership, the team won a "gold double" and then silver medals. But at that time Tuayev was also in the team. Although Aliyev performed this task on a legal basis, he was in fact one of Tuayev's aides. However, Aliyev worked in the "black and white" camp for about 5 years (1995-2000). First Kazbek Tuayev, then Ruslan Abdullayev and Ahmad Alasgarov also benefited from Asif Aliyev's help.

The best scorer in the history of the Azerbaijani championship "Neftchi" spent half of this season, but scored 16 goals in 14 games. Thus, he became the most distinguished player in the team.

In 26 games, he played 10 goals and played a significant role in the championship of our team.

Unlike his brother Samir, Aydin, who competes not in the front but in the back, is the player who has played the most games for Neftchi this season (29).
