Sanan Gurbanov was born on August 4, 1980. As a footballer, Gurbanov wore the jerseys of many clubs in our country, as well as the Azerbaijan national team, and began his coaching career in 2012. Until 2018, he worked as a coach at “Gabala”, and in 2018-2019 he served as head coach. In 2021-2022, the specialist managed “Keshla” (now “Shamakhi”). He led “Gabala” to the Azerbaijan Cup in the 2018/19 season and “Keshla” in 2020/21.
From August 2023 to October 2024, he was a member of the coaching staff of our A team.
He holds a UEFA “Pro” category coaching license.
