“Neftchi” faced “Qarabag” in the final match of the U-13 League. The regular time of the match, held at Bayil Stadium, ended in a 2:2 draw.
No goals were scored in extra time. In the post-match penalty shootout, the team led by head coach Rashad Mammadov won 4:3 and became the Azerbaijani champions of the 2025/26 season.
After the match, the “white and blacks” were presented with the cup and gold medals. The awards were presented by Elchin Mammadov, Deputy Secretary General of the AFFA, and Emin Jafarov, Head of the Competitions Organization Department. “Qarabag”, which took 2nd place, received silver medals, while “Sabah”, which took 3rd place, received bronze medals. In addition, Adil Shabanov (“Neftchi”) was awarded the special prize for the best player of the season, while Amid Shabanov (“Qarabag”) was named the best goalkeeper.
